Arctic Monkeys Poster

The classic black and white approach this poster has took is really effective as the colours contrast to make the logo of the band stick out. This simple sleek design is something I would like to attempt to replicate to achieve the same effect in my ancillary task of creating a poster. The simplicity is something that is really striking to me as a band such as the Arctic Monkeys who have achieved world wide success over the years have gone back to basics and haven't attempted to produce something really complex. The print for the album going across the middle creates synergy for all "AM" products including the album itself, creating brand recognition.
